March 08 - The score for "The Player" directed by London England based director Mary Nighy is completed. Strings were recorded in Prague. (Listen)

Feb 08 - Genie Nominations are announced. Nominees include Don Macdonald (Fido)
Eastern Promises (Howard Shore), Shake Hands With the Devil (David Hirschfelder), Silk (Ryuichi Sakamoto), That Beautiful Somewhere (Steve London).

Jan 08 - Film Music Weekly names Don as one of the "Composers to Watch" in it's January 9th article. Choral arrangements completed for Vancouver based Chor Leone Men's Choir to be performed this summer.

Jan 08 - String arrangements are arranged and produced for the upcoming Warren Flandez album "Mayfield Park". The R&B arrangements feature a 20 member string ensemble.

Dec 2007-Completed the score to "Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief" for 20th Century Fox. (Listen)
